2010 European Championships
In a great boost for the sport in Europe, England has accepted an invitation to compete in the inaugural 16-per-side European Championships.
The tournament will take place from 31 July to 8 August, 2010 and will be jointly hosted by the Danish Australian Football League and AFL Sweden. Matches will be played in the Oresund region of North Zealand and Scania.
Other countries expected to compete include Wales, France, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden and Croatia.
