ARUK South Grand Final - Demons v Redbacks

The Chippenham Redbacks will take on the Bournemouth Demons in the ARUK South Grand Final on Saturday 1 August.
After making their debut in 2008 and winning only one game, it would be fair to say that no one expected the Redbacks to challenge league stalwarts such as the Sussex Swans or Southampton Titans in 2009. Yet the Redbacks shocked everybody by defeating the Titans in Round 1 and have not looked back since. After suffering only one loss for the entire season, they go into their first grand final full of confidence.
The Demons have also enjoyed a great year and are keen to add another premiership, after having taken out the first flag in 2007. Led by captain-coach Lockie Kerr, the Demons have recruited well and have timed their run into form well.
The match kicks off at 2pm and will be played at Havant Rugby Club. The address is Hooks Lane Ground, Fraser Rd, Havant PO9 3EJ
The grand final will be followed by the ARUK South League awards night. All welcome.
