- 2009-10-19 11:32:00

England are the Champions of Europe, having won the 2009 EU Cup in Samobor, Croatia!

Coached by Robert Fielder, the Dragonslayers played some fantastic footy throughout the tournament, defeating the Czech Republic, Andorra, Finland and Spain to reach the grand final against the Netherlands.

The Flying Dutchmen were determined to bring home the Cup, but the Dragonslayers performed superbly to make history by becoming the first country to win the EU Cup for the second time.

Congratulations to all players, coaches and officials on a fantastic victory!
